Hello, Alicia here.  I just wanted to leave a quick note to let everyone know how happy I am to be on board.  I look forward to working with all of you and getting to know you all.  Well...except Christie.  I don't want to get to know her... ;)  

I'm really looking forward to Friday (tomorrow), I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun.

I'm back to report the final changes to the group after our restructuring. First and foremost, I'd like to personally congratulate Sharon on her promotion to Tech Manager! Sharon has been working with me to learn the ins and outs of the Tech Department and how to run and set-up the equipment and she is doing great! I foresee things running far more smoothly with the equipment, plus Sharon is excellent with evidence review and will be training our newest member in that area.

Which brings me to my next announcement: A warm welcome to our newest member, Tammy Ogaard who will be joining on as evidence analyst and also an investigator in training! Tammy is an awesome addition to our group and we are so excited to have her along with us for these exciting times.

Alicia and I were recently contacted by another production company also interested in doing a show about our group, so things are unbelievably exciting right now. We still feel things will continue with the original company, as we are very close to finalizing now, but it is so nice to know others are interested in us and what we do!

It's been quite a while since I blogged here on the site, but with the changes our group has seen in the past few days, I felt it neccessary.

As stated on the "Who We Are" page, Hope has left the group to pursue other interests. We wish her the best always and will miss her. She contributed so much to the group, it would not be here without the time and work she threw into it with me and I am certain we will all miss her goofy antics and practical jokes:-)

Joining the team and replacing Hope as the group's Co-Owner is my long-time best friend, Alicia Velarde. I have known Alicia for close to 30 years now, I trust her and know I can depend on her for the long haul. We will be able to work more closely together as we get together quite frequently and will be able to move certain aspects of the group along more quickly now. We foresee the chance for far more investigations to be scheduled now as well and time restraints will not be such an issue. All in all, all things happen for a reason and we are looking past what could be easily viewed as negative and seeing instead the positives for all involved.

Finally, I spoke with the Production Company today and we have the go ahead from Algonquin Cemetery for us to film our presentation piece there. All they need to do is show them proof of insurance and they are assigning an off-duty police officer to us for that night to make certain all goes smoothly. Shooting should be done by the second week in October before it gets too cold here, so work on that camera presence ladies!:-)

The group meeting/get together was a blast! Thanks everyone for coming and we hope you had fun too. Now you know that if you want priceless entertainment, give Hope and I a bottle of wine and have us sing karaoke...LOL.

Also, Congratulations to Heather on her updated status to Investigator!! You have proven to us that you are a thorough and reliable investigator and your training period is over. We know we can count on you in any situation to react accordingly and appreciate everything you bring to the group!

We are looking forward to the 28th and the first official investigation of 2009! Thanks to Robynn for all the research and information you provided to the group! We can't wait to get out there again!

I'm still reeling over our investigation of Algonquin Cemetery. What a night! I apologize that nothing is up on the site yet. Things have been extremely hectic for me. However, I'm off of work tomorrow and I plan on listening to all of the audio I have. I'm hoping we caught that child's laugh we all heard and I'm also hoping there could be some surprises on the audio. That place seemed to be over-flowing with activity!

Robynn is currently researching some of the names we gave her, including the name on the tombstone we all believed to be that of the murderer's. It sounds as though she has found some interesting infomation and as soon as we verify it, we'll share:-)

Thanks to Heather and Sharon for helping out on this one and thanks to our guest investigator, Kayla! It was great to have you along!

Just wanted to chime in and offer my thanks to everyone as well. We worked really hard to put this event together and you all made it SO worth it! And we raised a lot of money for a very important cause...what a great feeling!! We applaud our fellow "Paranormal Moms"!:-)

I would like to offer a HUGE thank you to all of you who have made donations for our Susan G. Komen fundraiser. We're doing really well...you guys are awesome!!

We also hope that you will all join us on the 4th for the big ghost hunting event at Bachelor's Grove! We promise you won't be sorry you came along. Bachelor's Grove is an amazing place full of history and, we believe, paranormal activity. There are many sites on the web dedicated to it if you would like to research it a little before the event. If you have a digital camera and/or digital voice recorder, bring them along. You might end up taking home an extremely unique souvenir;-) But bring along extra batteries.....they tend to drain quickly there;-)

We will also have the drawing while we're there. We are still working on the raffle prizes, but the way it looks I believe there will be one main prize and then a few smaller gifts as well. There will be PMS wear and gear along with AVON products too.

Guys....please join us as well!! The ladies will be wearing pink, but for the guys we will have pins available to put on your shirts should you wish to wear a different color:-)

Also, don't forget to bring a small lunch for yourself. Bachelor's Grove is situated inside a forest preserve and you would have to trek back through to the road, cross the Midlothian turnpike and then get in the car and drive for quite a bit to find restaurants. Hope and I will be providing bottles of water for everyone, so please give us a shout and tell us you are planning to join us so we are certain to bring enough for everyone:-)

We are really looking forward to seeing everyone and sharing not only our love of ghost hunting with you, but also our fascination with this particular location. See you on the 4th!!:-D
